Experience CAE Guest Pass Program and Security Information
The Experience CAE Guest Pass Program allows the non-traveling public to visit CAE and enjoy the amenities available past security and meet or send off their family and friends.
Experience CAE Guest Pass Program Rules
- Experience CAE is available 7 days a week between the hours of 4:00 am and 7:00 pm.
- There is a limit of 50 guests each day.
- All participants, regardless of age, need to apply for a guest pass. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- The Experience CAE Guest Pass is non-transferable and valid only on the date of issuance.
- Digital and printed Experience CAE guest passes are accepted.
- Experience CAE Guest Pass users are subject to the same security regulations as passengers boarding an aircraft and must comply with TSA’s screening procedures, to include not bringing items prohibited by TSA and complying with the 3-1-1 Liquids Rules.
- Experience CAE Guest Pass users must exit the Sterile Area (area past the Security Checkpoint) after the final flight has arrived.
- Priority will be granted to ticketed passengers, enabling them to board their flights promptly. Individuals with the Experience CAE Guest Pass may be required to wait before entering the checkpoint.
- The issuance of Experience CAE guest passes may be temporarily halted during peak travel periods or under special situations. Passes are NOT guaranteed access.
- This program may be discontinued or revoked at any time by TSA or CAE.
How-To Apply
STEP 1 | Apply Online
- Experience CAE Guest Passes can be requested up to 14 days in advance, or on the same day of your visit. Please allow a minimum of one hour for processing and approval.
- If you cannot select a date or time on the online form, that means there is no availability for that date and time.
When applying, there are two options for ID Verification – REAL ID or Passport – you will scan your TSA-approved ID using a camera to provide that information. YOU WILL NEED TO SCAN BOTH SIDES OF THE ID FOR THE APPLICATION TO BE SUCCESSFUL. Accurate registration details (name, birthdate, gender) must match the ID presented during check-in. Discrepancies will result in TSA denial.
- Once submitted, you will receive an email confirmation verifying that your request has been received.
PLEASE NOTE: Experience CAE Guest Pass access is approved only for personal use; commercial or professional use is prohibited. The Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) and/or the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) may deny or revoke access at any time in its sole discretion.
STEP 2 | Approval or Denial
- Your request will be reviewed by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
- Successful applicants will receive an email notification just after midnight on the day of their visit.
- If denied, you will receive an email with your denial. All denials are final.
STEP 3 | Experience CAE
- If approved, you will receive your Experience CAE Guest Pass attached to your approval notification e-mail.
- Upon your arrival, park in either the Garage or Surface parking. (You will be responsible for all costs associated with parking.)
- To check-in and activate your pass, visit the Airport Information Desk and scan the available QR code and complete the required fields. Once completed, you are ready to proceed to the STANDARD screening lane at the TSA Checkpoint.
